Apostille corporate documents issued by Companies House

Incorporation certificates and other documents that have been certified by Companies House can be submitted directly for authentication by Apostille stamp for legal use in signatory countries to the Apostille Convention. Other corporate documents, including company snapshots, can be notarized in order to be eligible for an Apostille. Certificates required for use in non-apostille countries are submitted to the embassy of recipient country in London for legalization, including United Arab Emirates - Qatar - Thailand - Taiwan - Vietnam

Certificates of Incorporation

Companies House issues signed incorporation certificates for UK companies that can be authenticated for use abroad. These certificate can include additional information about the company:

Certificates of Good Standing

A Certificate of Good Standing confirms that a company is in existence, duly registered and up to date with all its filing obligations. A statement of good standing for UK companies can be added to a certified Certificate of Incorporation, stating that a company has been in continuous, unbroken existence since its incorporation and that no action is currently being taken to strike the company off the register.

Companies House also issues certified copies of company filings which can be authenticated by Apostille for use abroad. These include:

Non-certified documents

Other documents issued by companies but not filed with Companies House can also be authenticated by Apostille and embassy attestation, such as Board Resolutions, agreement and contracts. These documents require prior certification by a UK notary or solicitor.

It is also possible to notarize company snapshots for certification by Apostille - A Company Snapshot includes information from Companies House on a company's filing history, Officers, Persons with significant control, Charges, Insolvency, Registers. Obtaining and notarizing a snapshot is quicker than obtaining certified documents from Companies House.
